Here, I will review the Streamlight Clipmate (model 61125). I highly recommend this light for private security and law enforcement work. The white light high mode pushes 500 candela and the low mode has 50 candela. For the red light feature, the high has 9 candela and the low setting has 3 candela. https://amzn.to/46crDfQ
I've owned this handheld flashlight for four years. I've also dropped this light more than 20 times! Considering its durability and price, this light is a perfect entry level light for private security officers or law enforcement officers that want a smaller light for 1" light holsters. This light features 12,000 candela. https://amzn.to/3WsX0zA
This TLR-7 HLX WML was recommended to me by my fellow low light instructors at Elevated Performance Concepts. This light has 22,000 candela which has more than 2,000 candela than the TLR1-HL (it's also shorter and lighter). Those who want a "flushed" looking and lighter WML attached to their 4" barrel pistol, will like this model. The drawback from the TLR1-HL is the run time is about 50% less. The advantage is that you can double down on this WML because it can serve as a WML on a concealed carry pistol or a duty pistol. If using for concealed carry or duty, just make sure your holster will accommodate this WML. https://amzn.to/3Y6bxTc
I am issued one of these lights and they are amazingly bright and durable. The light pushes 20,000 candela. If you need a quality WML for duty purposes, I recommended one of these. https://amzn.to/3W5DRlO
I bought one of these for my Sig 365 XL. This model is specifically made for the Sig 365 series. This WML is superior for concealed carry purposes but it is not, in my opinion, a duty light due to it only have 5,000 candela. I will say that the light is very bright, but it does not have the candela to push past photonic barriers you would experience as an armed private security officer or police officer. Use just for CCW and off-duty work. https://amzn.to/46ba3Jn
I've owned at least five of the Surefire X300 series WMLs. The Surefire X300 Ultra pushes out 11,300 candela. The "A" and "B" differences in the Surefire X300 Ultra series refers to the type of accessory rail attachment. I prefer the "A" model because I don't need to use tools on the range to attach. The "B" model is also great because all you need is a penny to adjust the tension on the rail attachment.
